Get back on the horse. What triggered you to drink?

Hi savarna, baby steps, one at a time, day by day, concentrate what's right in front of you not the big void out there, hold our hands, we will steady your walk xxxx

I'm sorry you drank Savarna but I'm glad you got back

It's different to change when we drank for social anxiety - I just had to accept that drinking was not an option for me anymore, and I had to be ok with feeling uncomfortable for a while.

The more social occasions I did sober the better I felt.

I'm not the most sociable person ever, but I do ok - and I don't need to drink over it

You're not the first person to relapse and won't be the last. Forgive yourself, learn from it, and move forward again.

Many of us...most of us...relapse in early sobriety. I know I did.

Don't give up, you can do this

I think it gets harder as the years mount up Savarna - it's not impossible tho.

Can you think of anything you can add to what you've been doing so far?

Those relationships both new and old seem to often be a trigger for relapse. This time around in my sobriety I've had to really stay strong on not giving up on my sobriety no matter what. Clearly sobriety is important to you because you posted about starting fresh

You came back to tell what happened - and you aren't giving up. That's what counts.

Hang in there!!! No one has ever said this was easy. Focus on breathing and take in surroundings. Being present in the moment helps me be okay with situations I don't really feel comfortable in.
