New person here
I have long used alcohol and other drugs to cope (mostly pot and pills), and am now starting on what I hope to be permanent sobriety. I do know that I have to take it one day at a time, as forever seems overwhelming! I am on day 15 currently.
I've had decent periods of sobriety in the past, but the urge to use has always come back to bite me in the ass. I know that I have to stay clean and sober for my sanity now. I look forward to conversing with all of you.
