So because it's early, it means, you're working on something to help yourself?

Maybe, reading and absorbing as much information as you can?

I'm reading rational recovery at the moment and working on AVRT. That and trying to keep myself busy!

I never set a limit to this. Just have had thousands of 24 hours all mount up a second at a time.
Enjoy the journey

Personally I think making a challenge isn't such a bad thing, no pressure. Why not make sobriety a fun thing. Once those 30 days tally up fast, and learn how it wasn't such a bad thing, why not aim for 60.

The only thing is......once those 30 days are done, don't set yourself up, thinking, ok now I can drink again.

Hey whatever works, works eh?

And yes....a day at a time.

I think setting a challenge is more of a comeraderie type thing not setting limits....it helps you identify with people who are in a similar mind set and position in their journey as you....in no way would day 30 be seen as an indication of an ability to drink again...more a milestone to be celebrated with other people in or around the same timeframe.

By the way im doing good, off to london for the weekend for a first test of resolve.....quietly confident.

Great idea, you can cheer each other along and we can all cheer you both, keeping busy's good, sounds like you're in a real positive mind-set, baby steps & slowly, slowly chase the demons away

Why don't you all post your results, each day?
Something like this.

1-30
5-30

I think seeing the result would be more fulfilling, just a thought

I love this idea. A support system is always a great thing! You will all succeed, beaming with pride in a month and buying yourself a nice gift that you deserve. I hope to see updates and tabulations posted on everyone's progress.
