Oh dear :(

Almost made 5 weeks sober,Until last night. Had been craving drink all day for some reason. Not giving up this fight. I'm not feeling down, Although it just re-iterates how bad this is. .

Kevin - just don't have a drink today :)

Kevin, you're not alone. Last night, for some reason I was having BAD cravings. Before the cravings throughout the week were small, but this was bad. I had a meal and the cravings started to fade away a bit. I then went out to the store and bought some Gatorade. It curbed the craving. Pick yourself back up and continue to stay sober. Five weeks is a good stretch of time! You've worked so hard! Don't give up! In the future, whenever you have cravings, stay close to SR and post, people will be here to help you through it.

Just keep trudging along. The steps get easier the further you walk.
And sounds like you did learn something from this one

I'm like you, Kevin. Having a bit more cravings than usual. I'm still hopeful, though.

I'm not going to count days anymore... I don't care... I am just going to have a thousand day 1 with no remissions... but if you do... just go one day at a time with no booze
