Title says it all. I miss her but I don't. If she loved me, she'd call. But she never does. How can I NOT feel worthless?

It took me 40 years to learn but I know now worth comes from within us, not from other people.

I'm sorry that your mom never calls, but I think that says a whole lot more about her, than it does about you.

I know but it still hurts.

I remember one year I told her all I wanted was for her to call my younger brothers on their birthday- I didn't care about me.

But she still apparently couldn't.

I'm sorry it hurts Jade.

It hurt less after I accepted and decided that she could never be what I wanted her to be, and I gathered a family of friends and loved ones around me.

I found a measure of peace - I hope you can too Jade

Hi Jade, no wonder it hurts. If it's any comfort it's almost certainly not about you or your brothers, but the way she is.
Have you had any therapy to help you deal with this? I've found it helpful in the past when I've had a crisis.

I got some great family and friends ... I guess even after all these years I still want what I'll never have.

I still feel rage,depression and very low about myself sometimes (parents issues) and i recently got 30 lol.

We were put in this place by them there is no shame.

OUR responsibility is to get of there, nothing more.

I am grieving of my parents death sometimes even while they are still alive and talking to me...
