Hi
Hi all. New to recovery. Starting outpatient counseling soon. Woman @ intake wanted me to join AA and support group @ chem dependency center, but I've got social anxiety issues so I'm not really ready for that. Been sober so far the month of Feb. I don't consider myself a true addict, but certainly have dependency issues with alcohol. Also smoking weed and downer pills.

Trying to learn how to cope with the stresses of life chemical free (except my prescription antidepressant).

I'm glad you joined the family. I got sober with the help of this site and my addiction counselor. Might counseling be an option for you?
