Raider - the dawn of day 6

Really doing ok. Scared to death I'm experiencing the pink cloud - been there done that - and falling off wasn't pretty. Watched on line church and there was a guest Pastor. So I didn't go. Instead making four loaves of banana nut bread. Wrote up a few notes to speak at Bob's funeral tomorrow. God willing, I will not drink today or tomorrow at the funeral. That was Bobs wish. So thanks for asking. I will not drink today.

Raider, I've also made friends with older people. Including my father, who is 82 now... just had a wonderful phone convo with him... we used to try and call each other at "decent" hours but no longer, these days we call whenever...

Keep up and keep posting!!!!

Congratulations Raider - that's fantastic

For what it's worth you don;t seem to be on any pink cloud to me - you seem grounded and determined - two very good things to be IMO

Keep your sobriety close and treasure it as a gift; a gift to Bob and more importantly a gift to yourself. You deserve better than a life lived drunk.
