Actually, it comes and goes. At times caffeine exacerbates the anxiety, but when I'm feeling low I want a lift. I'm on a rollercoaster these days. There are studies that show moderate coffee drinkers tend to rate higher on happiness scales. Damn moderation.

I am, but I don't like too much caffeine. I started mixing a can of 50% caffeine with a can of decaf, and then I could drink pot after pot without get too much.
I love coffee, good quality coffee.
There is a coffee grinding, packing and distribution factory unit not to far from here.
When I drive past the aroma is spellbinding. It's smells delicious.
My doctor told me no more than one cup a day. I so far have compromised at 3!!!

I drink my share probably 8 cups day.
I have to be careful not to drink much of the grog they make at a rehab I go to meetings on wed. That stuff is so thick you stir it with a fork.
Might try and make it a bit weaker at home. Colder weather icing it down at a meeting might be hard. Have you tried decaf ? Or perhaps some meetings have decaf mix regular with regular.
