yesterday my sister tells me i dont need to go for a meeting coz it wont help. i was sooo sad coz i realised she has given me sooo many chances n all the options i have tried havent worked; actually, i havent worked the program yet i have even taught it. soo, i am not going to give up but do as many meetings as i can despite wot people think about me.

I think you should try the meetings. Your sister doesn't know what's going to help YOU, only YOU know what can help YOU. And there's only one way to find out if it works, and that's going to those meetings. It can't hurt, can it? Good luck

If your sister has never been addicted, then she must clearly not understand you IMHO
Don't worry/care what people think about what to do; if working the steps now, going to mtgs & doing service work then who cares?? As long as go to bed knowing another day sober, then got it made!

soo, what im readin is that,yup, goin to meetings hasn't helped.
the only thing meeting makers make is meetings.
meeting makers that work the program recover.


go to meetings, get a sponsor and the big book( which isn't meant to sit and collect dust), and work the program.
it works if ya work it so work it yer worth it!
