Newand scared
 

I'm not what i had hoped i would be, by this time in my life. I have days I am so scared, the thought of being called on paralizing me,.. I keep my head down, I feel myself shaking, I'm thinking I shouldn't be here,.. and i'm thinkin' i should head out the door... Not becouse I think i am better, or worse,.. but becouse i feel the shell breaking... I feel my heart aching and the pain, the shame, the guilt, the failure,...

I know I don't wanna get numb anymore.
but i can't control my feelings,
People shouldn't see me like this, they'd lock me up and throw away the key,..
I'm new. I'm scared. I don't sleep very well.

Hi . I'm new here as well, an I'm also scared but we can do it keep your head up and don't forget to breathe. Just try your best to be positive about the future. The seasons remind us there's time to change hang in there

Many of Us are a Real MESS, when We first get Sober - But it DOES get better.

We are ALL Here for You. I'm only on Day 38, but feel Much better than Earlier, for Sure.
What Helped Me lots is stuff like getting outside in the Sun-exercising by going for walks-Reading Lots of Posts-I choose to go to AA Meetings as well...May not be for You, at the Moment, but it sure has helped Me...Daily Inspirational Readings, Good Diet, Lots of Water...
