Hi all (Newcomer)

My name is Ashley, I'm a recovering pill addict. Through this addiction I lost every ounce of financial security I had. I came very close to ending up in jail. Luckily I got a grip on things and am 8 days clean today. I'm starting to feel better, my bills are getting paid this month, and I'm attending NA meetings every.single.day.
I'm hoping to find support on this forum, I'm still very scared and anxious. I have a boyfriend who is going through recovery with me but no family support at all.

Thanks all! I'm struggling with anxiety right now. I had a lot of really awful things happen that lead me to make the decision to start using. Now that I'm not using those things that I never dealt with are still lingering and starting to come back.
NA meetings every night have been so helpful, but sometimes I have a hard time forcing myself to stay busy.
For example, today I had classes, was going to get my nails done, go to the grocery store, come home, write a paper, pick up my fiancee, go to our meeting, grab a quick dinner, then go home and go to sleep. What have I done? I went to one class (not two), came straight home, and I'm sitting on my bed watching the Wendy Williams Show, lol. AGH!
