way too long a history to go into the entire history with this man i have been married to for 39 years....started out with me at 19 thinking maybe I was the one who had the drinking problem which I found out 20 years later it was him who was blaming me...so i became co dependent and an enabler to try and fix me to fix him! Oy vay that was way too simple for all the years of struggles I have been through...finally after many years of counseling with him and without him and a separation I am once again at the point where I have to leave to keep myself balanced and at peace.
I appreciate all your support...I have never ever signed up for a forum like this BUT I read one womans struggle with her husband and KNEW it was sounding like ME and I had to change things....way too late perhaps but its better than never!...thanks for any support
