Day 12

Today is day 12 for me. The 1st 4 days were kinda rough for me with the night sweats, insomnia & agitation. I come here several times a day and read posts & it keeps me focused. Thank you all!
I know that I have to quit drinking or find a faster way to kill myself, no in between. I want to live and spend what's left of my time enjoying my husband, children & living life. I know that there will be struggles along the way but not living in that haze anymore will be so worth it.

Hi. with time it gets so much better. I needed to keep reminding myself that if I don't pick up that first drink I wouldn't have to TRY to get sober AGAIN

Congratulations on 12 SOBER DAYS sher70!

Great attitude about sobriety.

Things really do get better the longer you remain sober.

I don't post a lot, but I come to SR several times a day.
