Done it again - new rescue kitten

BUT I'm keeping this gorgeous little girl If I hadn't found SR last year I wouldn't have been 'sane' enough to rescue/rehome and have rescued/rehomed 5 animals since then.

THIS one - I am keeping - I made the fatal mistake of looking her in the eyes - she is jet black 9 week old and adorable (as are all animals)

SO - thanks yet again SR - from me and the animals

Xx

Taking care of my dogs and cat (all rescues) is one of my biggest pleasures in life.

Pictures, please.

Tomorrow - I PROMISE - I have tried but she's literally jet black all over and that means it has to be camera (no flash on phone) and am charging batteries as we speak

Well, as you can see, I'm a bit of a cat lover.

Good on you for saving a little soul.

Thanks Anna Xxxxxx She (who is now called POLLY - she keeps sitting on my shoulder like a parrot) was supposed to be passing through en route to rehoming, but 10 mins into her being here - cupids arrow struck, so she's staying lol

Don't ever look kittens in the eyes. It is dangerous. You will be taking home an ark full in no time!

Awesome that you are taking in and rehoming cats. I could never do that. I would want to keep them all.

My daughter has a solid black cat and it's almost impossible to get a good picture of him. He usually looks like a big black blob, because he's also FAT.

That's how I got my Jack. He was a foster dog but I fell in love with him and kept him.

Top tip - don't look them in the eyes It's the only way I could let my rescues go - even if they were heading for mansions and the best life ever - I would still cry bucketloads

I was actually a dog rescue mainly until one day, a little kitten called Toby came into my life. He is now in the north of Scotland but he converted me to cat rescue as well (plus rabbits and anything else with fur and eyes)

I'll suggest the refrigerator as both a white background and an example of his size. LOL

Okay Skye. You have now officially made me laugh three times today with the cats on the keyboard comment. Mine wander all over the board, rubbing their tails up my nose and then stop so I have cat butts in my face. They could be ignoring me for hours but the second I open a newspaper or start typing - WHAM - there they are.

Yep - I'm hearing ya Ruby and want to know something funny? The brother of the woman I got the kitten from (she has to get rid of some as she had 11 and her landlord was going ape) has just phoned - pissed as a neut - asked me to go out with him and said ' I have to tell you I don't do drugs, but I do like a drink' (this was after he kept forgetting my name) - Why me

I actually find it amusing and will be directing him HERE to SR

At least I won't look back when I'm 90 and feel like I've had a dull life yeah

Ah, now I am getting it with the guy calling and asking. Nothing like drunk dialing to put things in perspective. No, it isn't a dull life, is it?
