I'm a monkey - suppose it could be worse, like a pig. But I wish I was something impressive like a horse or a dragon.
Anyone know what this is the year of?

Apparently us snakes like to slither so to speak:

From Wikpedia: the "hour" of the Snake is 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the time when the sun warms up the earth, and Snakes are said to slither out of their holes.

Now that I think about it 9:00 am is around the time I would start getting ready to make my morning trek to the liquor store. Hmm now this has given me some food for thought!

I'm Virgoan normally - so I now have to decide if I'm a Ratty Virgin or a Virgin Rat.

Skye :Of all the signs, the Rat symbolizes activity and charm.

also you are the first in the Zodiac. Rats aren't as bad as we think!

I am a Rabbit! I think I'll stick on that one. I think Tiger, Dragon, and Monkey sound pretty awesome but after that it goes downhill quick. Rabbits are said to be soft-spoken and fond of a peaceful life. Sounds good to me.

Here's a link to the Chinese Zodiac signs, and if you click on your sign you will get your 2014 fortune!

Gong hay fat choy! I'm a dragon and a Sagittarius. Hmm. I've looked both up in the past and seem to recall thinking that it was predestiny to be an alcoholic with that combination.

Skye, my daughter is a rat. She is a pretty cool five year old. Active and charming. Hard to find cute rat toys for kids though. I laughed at the ratty virgin comment. My son would be the cocky virgin as he was born in the year of the rooster.

My sister in law, lucky duck, is back home in China visiting her family for the holiday. That would be a lot of fun I think. The food and fireworks.
