HI team I haven't thought much about drink but I've found I'm getting more obsessed with other things , most of u know I compete in fitness physique comps and so I'm becoming obsessed with every little bit of my fat weight food etc like its life or death is this tempory or normal to change to another obsession , I'm worried as I can't seem to stop stressing
I think a lot of us are obsessive thinkers - if you've been that way for years it can take time to change.
The fact you're aware of it is a good sign tho.

I used to fixate on something/anything to worry about it and I would become stressed and obsessed. I do think it's often part of addiction.
Balance for me is so, so important each and every day. I think, as your recovery continues, you will begin to relax a bit more.
