I'm Just wondering if anyone could tell me if this has happened to them. As some of you know my AB has been in rehab twice and detox 8 times and drinking again. But this time seem different because he never raised his voice to me before or hollered at me. Now if I try to talk normal to him he raise his voice and screams at me. Could it be because I've been distancing myself from him when I know he's drinking?

Alcoholism is progressive. And gets worse, along with the behaviors associated with it.

His behaviour sounds extreme- drink may be the cause but it doesn't excuse it

When he starts to scream or raise his voice most of the time I just walk away and let him talk to himself

He seems to have more problems than just drinking. Like controlling his temper. You deserve better than that.
