Glad I have SR as having relationship issues (I know...shocker considering his is still drinking and I'm sober...go figure) and I'm committed to staying strong. Part of me wants to say f-it and go out tonight and have fun but I know the best thing for me is to go to my counseling appointment this afternoon and then come straight home to an alcohol-free atmosphere. So glad to see so many people checking in already for a sober weekend!!

I'm down with being sober for the weekend!!!
We've got a birthday party for one of my ole drinking buddies and my wife and I promised to just do dinner and leave. I don't wanna shut people out BUT I can't let myself go into bars. I went to a networking thing in a pub and it was physically and mentally exhausting! I was dragging the next day like I was hungover and I only had soda water and lime.

Count me in! I'll be making a lot of tasty food, drinking delicious coffee in the mornings, working out, and playing a lot of Elder Scrolls: Oblivion on XBox! I'm apparently a geek now that I'm sober

Day 37 and ready for another sober weekend. It is bitterly cold here, daughter and I are both sick with the same miserable cold and a hot toddy sure sounds good right now. But, will stick to ginger ale and hot tea (without the toddy
