Hello...new here
Hi all, looking for support on the internet. I live rural and can only get to 3 meetings a week. Sometimes I can get snowed in for days. I would really like to make some friends here

May I ask how we can help you? There's a lot of support here, both for the addict and their friends and family. Read and post as you like. There's someone here all the time as we are a global family.

Hi and Welcome. there is some VG support here, some based on the fellowship. The best I can suggest is an old one I heard early on. "If we don't pick up the first drink, we don't have to try to get sober AGAIN."

Welcome MamaGoat. I just use SR - it's a very supportive community and also tons of information. Read thru the posts for things that apply to you. I found that knowing what to expect and seeing others are going through similar struggles helps a lot.
