I love this place. Someone is always here! I don't have to wait for the AA meeting. Keep yourself busy and find a routine that works for you. I read the posts on here to find inspiration and fellowship.

Welcome to SR, tete. I found it impossible to moderate the amount that I drank, and I truly believe that anyone with an issue is not able to moderate. It will eventually get worse and worse, so the easiest time to quit and stay quit is now. Good luck.
went through a very intense round of chemo( acutally 2) and still made it to meetings.
had part of the t6 vertebrae removed and still made it to meetings.
herniated disc didn't keep me from goin.
how were you able to get alcohol with cracked ribs?

You are absolutely right tomsteve !!! I know exactly what you mean, I hope I will be as good as you are !!! I'm sorry for your health problems and i hope you have a complete recovery !!! The hard truth is what needs to be said, so thank you for that
