In need of help

I won't lie. I've been a member before and never managed to do anything useful with it. That was a mistake. So many people get help here and I missed out on it. So I needed to get a new account and get proactive.

Tomorrow will be, I hope, my day 1. Today can't be, I've already been drinking.

This is just my introduction, to say hi.

Welcome back Worth. I agree - we have to be ready. I tried and failed many times - but I finally made it out of hell. You can do it too - please stay with us and keep posting. We care.

Thank you for welcoming me. I don't just want to quit, I need to. Everything is falling apart. My health, my relationships, everything.

I've been cursed with the "just one more can't hurt" curse and it's a curse for real. Because it never stops there. If it's truly the last one, afterwards you'd be done. And some people are, but not me. I think I've thought that hundreds of times.

Tomorrow, is gone. What I mean by that is that the regular tomorrow for me doesn't exist. The regular one is the one I planned out every day, to get drunk. The new one is blank. There's no drinking and I don't know what I'll do. But it'll be something positive.

welcome worth....

please check in with us tomorrow and hey - it's not 'too late' because if you haven't already stopped drinking today, you can stop RIGHT NOW.

Get yourself some tea, dump out whatever booze is left, and set your foot in the right direction.

I can't quit drinking today. Sorry, but I can't.

Tomorrow, when I wake up, it'll be gone.

I wasn't sober when I joined Worth - but participating here gave me the courage to stop. I had clung to it for so long - afraid to let go - but I was miserable. I was never high and happy - I only drank to avoid shaking. That isn't living. I'm glad you're realizing you need to make this big change. We know you can do it.

I hope the support here can help you stop drinking for good. Drinking always makes things worse. It's time to give yourself the good life you deserve.

Welcome home Worth. I hope you know you are "Worth" everything you want in life. I can tell you when I changed my attitude on acceptance; my anxiety, irritability, depression all got much, much better. Today I actually look forward not to having a drink. You can do it Worth. Peace !

You know, I actually chose that nickname because when I signed up, I figured that everyone on here would benefit of a reminder of their worth, as should I.

Thank you for your inspiring message! One day not having a drink gives birth to two days, 4 days, and so on.

What will be different tomorrow if you can't quit today?
