AA un Canada quebec?

I tried every number near me. Voicemails are nice. Left 3 no call back. Wow.

It's past 8pm there tho right? A lot of numbers simply don't have the manpower to be 24/7, I'd guess?

Thinking of you and hoping all is okay with you!

Hang in there.

Go to bed, take a walk, read a good book. do whatever will calm you down.

Salut Patman,

Comment ca va aujourd'hui?
Si tu as besoin de parler ou si tu as des questions sur les douze etapes d' Alcoolique anonymes, envois moi un message.
Il semble aussi que ces gens ont des reunions en ligne et un bulletin en Francais:

Just a thought Patman, all telephone responders are volunteers, perhaps they are struggling to get cover.I know here my local intergroup has a lot of phone shifts not covered ,simply because there aren't enough volunteers,it can be up to 36 hours here before someone gets back to you.

I hope someone has responded to you by now,how are you today?

That is the wonderful thing about SR,24/7 someone is online.

Hello everyone, thank you from the heart for your posts and support. It means the world to me.

I realize I can be sober but what is lacking in my plan is sober friendships. I have SR friends but need to get out of the house. AA is the most logical place to make new sober friends. I'm also looking at finding smart recovery groups in my area as I might not be a good fit for 12 steps. But I am open to the idea if I can make friends.

My Facebook account is not helping and hard to let go of. All I have are drinking friends. It triggers me. Time to let go.

Other than that is accepting to be single. Intimacy other than watering my plants sure would be nice!

Thank you all

AA-Quebec, official AA Quebec Web site

meeting search. why not go to one? Let them know that no one is answering the phones. Maybe no one knows about that?

Thank you for returning to let us know you are okay! hug

Whatever you need to get through, you can do it starting with you.

We are here as we are able to help.

An AA meeting sounds a good place to start.

I'm off to my first one in a little while.
