Day 10
Today is my 10th day sober. Second time during my alcoholism that I've gone more than seven days. I'm feeling good!
I'm a little worried about cravings and "missing alcohol" so I'm hoping that goes away soon.

Nice work knocking down these days! One way to keep those cravings away is to stick to your plan and don't get fancy. Lots of folks try and go out to a party after 10 days sober and end up causing themselves more grief. One foot in front of the other for a while, that's the key. Nose to the grindstone. What you're doing is working - congrats!
Congrats on 10 days Justin
I think you need to prepare yourself for a fairly long game - things undeniably got better once I stopped drinking, but it's also fair to say I did have cravings and I mourned alcohol for a fair while.
there is, of course, plenty of support here tho

GOOD JOB!! That's such a great feeling isn't it?
The best way to prevent that feeling is to keep yourself grounded & try not to look at the future as much… Focus on now.
This battle is a day at a time with MUCH reason. As long as you have today, you have everything. Without the power of today, you're essentially power-less.
Accepting things for what they are now really helps scale things… And appreciate how far you've come
Wonderful job on 10 days!! You've got this

I'm in my 11th day as well. Mild anxiety but so far no dizzy spells today! Booze is the last thing on my mind. I want to know what it really feels like to be truly sober. We're both still in the very early recovery period. Just try to think how much better we'll feel this time next week! If I can finish this day with no dizzy spells, then I believe this would be a major milestone. Hang in there.
