Nine days and feeling great
So I woke up this morning with zero anxiety, zero dizziness, and zero ringing in my ears. It took nine days to get out of the haze that is that step between detox and sobriety.
I am feeling great today, and will be hitting the gym first thing in the morning before work.
I started my new job, and I am finding sobriety MUCH easier now that I don't have home-brewers throwing beer in my face every day. It just goes to show you that you literally have to change everything to maintain long term sobriety.
I'm so lucky that I have a career that's in demand and was able to switch.
I even had to quit video games to get this far.
