5 months and 1 day SOBER!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi all
I haven't been on here in a while but I had to post some good news. I have been sober now for 5 months and 1 day, picked up my 5 month chip in an AA meeting last night.
I am so amazed and proud of myself for having gotten this far. I had a pretty rough ride this summer with relapses and feeling very very low. Things are quite different now. The mist is starting to clear and I am seeing life and the world in a much better, more positive way. I keep things in the day and keep it simple. Baby steps, one foot at a time.
I would never, ever have believed that I would manage this so to any newcomers out there. IF I CAN DO IT, SO CAN YOU, BELIEVE IN YOURSELVES!!!!!
