Yes, I have a drinking problem.
Hi there. I'm new.
I've known that I've had to cut back on drinking for the past 6-8 months, but I'm finally getting to it now. I realize I have problems and really need to spend about a year (or forever) totally sober. I don't know if I can do it alone, so I'm here for support.
I've read many helpful posts from this site anonymously for the past few months, and decided to finally join.

It's good to meet you darkness. I turned to SR when I found myself drinking all day. I never thought an online forum could help turn my life around, but it did. I hope you'll find the help and support you're looking for. Glad you joined us.

This site is full of support and useful info so read and post as you like. Many find it helpful to post here when they have the urge to drink or use. Posting is better than drinking.
