drinking? nope more like coke, speed to get to there on time, amphetamine, prescribed painkillers and anti-psychotic medication, diazepam, rohypnol, vicodin drinking too but only to bring down

So, it makes me think that colorless green ideas sleep furiously. A man called Dee has the power to erase my thoughts!

You can do it! I have quit all of the above with due diligence, just a few rough nights lol, and good people like these at SR. It works if you work it. Sorry, been to many AA and NA. I wish you all the best in your journey. Never give up.

Three years I've been on these forums, and never noticed the green light before, lol...

Welcome to SR, Holmes. You'll get some good info here. No eternal sunshine thought erasing, however. Which is a shame because there are several things I'd just as soon forget.
