Hi! I am an Alcoholic!

I have signed up here and finally admit that in the past 3 years my drinking has been out of control the last few months I have been drinking at least a 12 pack of beer a day. This can not continue. I am 35 and hope I have not damaged my body to much. This is my first day sober in nearly 3 months. I am worried since I am divorced I worry about not being able to find a date etc. I moved from KS to Austin Tx and get lonely here since I dont know anyone here. But my four year old son lives here so I am not moving back. I hope to make some new friends at least on here

Welcome to the Forum!!

You'll find loads of support here, it's natural to worry about plenty of things when becoming Sober, but concentrate on being Sober and the rest should fall into place!!

Welcome!!! I am a arent as well and beer was my poison and downfall. These peole, in this place are FAMILY and I could not have made the 3 plus sober months without them! Hapy you are along for our journey!!!!!
