How to I get help

Hello, I've been living with and my ah for 39 years, he's at end stage of alcoholism...He's been to so many hospitals for acute pancreatits, liver problems etc,.. I didn't drink to around 3 years ago and I seem to lose control, of my drinking. Now I have the same problem, I hide it well.....going to work everday, making meals , cleaning house.
I just can't keep going this way........living a lie.
When I come home from work my ah is passed out, so that's when I head to the package store. I'm living a lie. How do I get help.

I'd say try your local AA hotline and try out some meetings. You could head there instead of the store and listen to what others in your same predicament have to say. Al-Anon would probably help too in dealing with your husbands denial of his disease.

Well, you've come here, that's a first step. Have you considered one of the recovery programs? AA, Smart, Rational Recovery? I've stayed sober with the help of my counselor and daily visits to SR. It's been working for me for over four years now.

I hope we can help you stop drinking for good.
