Just wanted to introduce myself. I just joined a week or so ago. After three and a half years of living through hell living with an alcoholic, I had to kick out my fiance. Its killing me, its the hardest thing I ever did, but I knew if I didn't he would hurt me or the kids. He has to get help, and refused, so I made him go. Thank you for this site.

Must have been really hard to do but thank god you found the strength for yourself and the children. You will find lots of support here. Hang in, it will get better.

You can get to it by clicking on the link to alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and information at the top of the page and scrolling down to the Forum you want. I think you'll find a lot of support there.

There are "stickies", permanent posts of universal interest at the top of each forum index page, and you will lots of threads relating to your situation.
