Feeling too good - ok hyper!

I can go from extremes in moods at the best of times, but today I'm on a hyper one... rather than put what feels like a whoosh of nervous energy to good use, my (IT'S!!) brain is saying - you know what would make you feel even better? ... A vodka with full sugar coke - yeah!

What????

I'm ok when feeling a bit down, just sort of plod around til bedtime.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Ok am going to make a start on some of the things I couldn't do at the weekend due to wrist pain.

Just wanted to get my STUPID thoughts out there!

Thanks

Hi there MYTIMENOW,
I understand what you are saying about being Hyper I go there at times and for me these are dangerous times as I'm very carefree and reckless.
Learning from busts I've had in the past when I'm Hyper I'm on guard very vigilant not to bust anymore. Keep on your toes you are doing great recognising that. good luck

Vodka and coke isn't your stupid thought. That one belongs to your addiction.

Posting here about it was YOUR thought, and it seems brilliant to me.

Hope your wrist heals!

Thanks Spud, yes this bit in bold especially - what could possibly go wrong whilst feeling this good?! Heh I already know the answer to that one

Thanks sugarbear probably going to sound a bit thick here, but is journaling the same as writing a diary? That's actually something I've been thinking about, I put myself off thinking it would be a bit samey... but there's no reason for it to be!

I'm off to the job centre in 30 mins... bet that brings me back down to earth with a bump

Ha I lived in Bulwell with DS dad! Didn't have trams then, just buses and the train station, sadly he never fell under either!

Lol what was that about resentments?!!

Well the job centre didn't calm me down, quite the opposite in fact... I worked there as a temp when it was the Benefits Agency between my GCSE'S and A-levels, then every school holiday and before Uni. I recognised my advisor - went down memory lane with do you remember this, and so and so... Then I came out with you'll never guess what she is doing now *insert very rude job* and we both collapsed into giggles, advisor lost it with OMG can't even remember what I was going to write. 2 minutes of formality and sniggering and that was that!

I really need to get back to work, I do miss being out of the house and with people.

Ahhh and relax

No not there any more, went up for Uni, dropped out then got the job at the JC, came home in 98 when my son was 4 months. I do miss it though - lived in all the salubrious places - Clifton, St Anns, Bulwell lol

Doesn't take too much imagination re the job, just a bit OMG as she's in her 60's!

Anyway 1 hour til the school run, will burn off some more energy whizzing round with a bin bag. I shouldn't moan really, a happy medium would be nice though

You can borrow mine - how does a 16 year old manage to argue with a 4 year old? (or more likely vice versa) Yep - back down to earth lol
