Made it baack from vacation
 

Well, I did it! I made it through a vacation - sober. And it was a cruise too, with people drinking all around me, bars around every corner, stops at ports with beautiful beaches and bars everywhere I turned. I went to bed early every night, got up early every morning, went for a run followed by a trip to the gym, ate pretty decent and drank lots of water, a few sodas and a couple of cups of coffee everyday. I'm 10 days sober now and feeling pretty good. I haven't gone this long without a drink in almost 12 years.

Wow! Awesome job. So far, I have avoided any and all environments containing a drinking atmosphere. You inspire me.

I didn't really have a choice. The trip was booked and paid for almost a year ago. I just had to be strong and keep the promise I made to myself.
