Good morning. I know that anyone reading this, my first post on this site.... well you are all 'human'. I would have to say that I am really scared, nervous. However I need friends that I can get help from. I have just come to the realization that I am an alcoholic. I want to regain control of my life and not be ruled by desire to 'get ride of my pain'. It's been 7 days since I have had anything to drink. Thanks.

First congratulations on 7 days! This means that you are pretty much done with detox so now can work on rebuilding a new life and seaking support.
