Inspirational Books? Anyone?

ok so i had all of these lofty plans and joined the community center 3 blocks over... I was going to start running...eat well etc... HOWEVER... where I live we are in the middle of a DEEP FREEZE.... so going anywhere is impossible. (I have a toddler at home)
I have been reading many books on alcoholism and self help but I want to read something really inspirational. Have you any suggestions on even books where people who have broken free from their addictions and done something amazing? Anything that really inspired you? It doesn't have to be that particular story line but anything that really moved you?

I remember years ago I read Steppenwolf and I had a tingles it was so wonderful. Please send me some suggestions!!!

I really liked The Four Agreements. It's really just a very simple guidebook for going about life, drawing from ancient Toltec wisdom.
it's worth keeping around and referring to again for years to come.

Celestine Prophecy is good too. Not directly about recovery but a spiritual book that gets you thinking...

If you haven't seen it already, there is a sticky note in this forum with a list of books on recovery and spirituality. I know you were looking for a specific subset, but I've read most of the books on that sticky list and they are all quite good. Hope this helps.
