Alcohol education in schools update
Recently I posted.....educating youth about the dangers of alcohol.
This program I have developed in conjunction with a Registered Training Organisation to assist the QLD Government in the "minimising harm" initiative.
The idea - to educate youth in the the last 2 years of school in conjunction with an employment pre-requisite course to allow them to work in the hospitality industry. This course Responsible a Service of Alcohol (RSA) is required under legislation to be completed.
Whilst delivering the course content I would also discuss my story to allow a realistic look at "what could happen"
I am currently discussing this initiative with the Government agency Liquor Licensing Division (LLD) to assist with covering or reducing the associated costs.
I will keep you all posted.
