Can binge drinkers ever have a healthy relationship with alcohol?
Of course there are some people who grow out of alcohol abuse, just consider how many hundred millions of people are walking around out there.
You probably won't find many of them posting on recovery forums, though. Strong selection bias..
Also, consider that every "daily" drinker started out as a binge drinker/weekend warrior. I didn't drink everyday for many years. It just . . slowly got worse. It was like erosion. You can't see it, but one day you look with fresh eyes and "holy s@#$ my house is falling off a cliff!"
