The addicting flavor is likely the alcohol which can be from .5 to 3%

IMO alcoholics should not consume alcohol even in small amounts

Lemon and honey in water. Also, a couple of slices of cucumber in water is SO GOOD! AND I must have my S.Pellegrino (if I don't have it, I may die). Other than that- It's just coffee or tea. Man.. I drink a lot.

Did a little research on this Kombucha tea, the reviews aren't all positive. This article outlines some potential issues with it (including the fact that it was removed from Whole Foods because it could contain alcohol). Interesting stuff!

Kombucha tea can be dangerous to your health

Arrowhead (brand) sparkling water with lemon. Perrier or Pellegrino, too.

Also Dole pineapple juice in the 6 oz cans, not from concentrate.

Sometimes non fat milk in the morning.

Ginger ale on an airplane.

Cucumber in water? You have me intrigued. I'll have to try it!

The %of alcohol. In Kombucha is so small. It will not affect you. Its like.05 %. I was drinking up to 10 a day. No buzz. Just tastes good. And good for you

Can you generally buy Kombucha tea at regular grocery stores? Or is it only available in health food stores, etc.? I'm curious to try it.

I like to put sparkling apple cider or italian sodas in my wine glasses. I understand that the glass might be a trigger for some, but it's kind of soothing for me, like my binky. I don't feel so deprived. Or I put Pellegrino and lime and ice in them.

It's certainly not healthy, but I love the taste of Red Bull. Other than that, coffee or Pepsi. (Also not every healthy.)

Squzz- Have you tried the sugar free Red Bull? Better for you and lower calories. One of my favorites as well....

I like the Cranberry and soda with lime for when you're out. Cuts the heaviness of the cranberry by itself and the lime squeeze adds just the right touch.

I did a bit more research on Kombucha - apparently it was removed from Whole Foods a while back because it "could contain" up to 3% alcohol, but the manufacturers have since adjusted how they brew it and now it's guaranteed to be below the accepted 0.05% alcohol level (the same amount found in many things like regular orange juice), so now Whole Foods carries it again. I think I'll try it for sure, it sounds pretty cool.
