Nine Days Sober
So I'm 9 days sober today. I was went to see my doctor again, (for those who have not read lately, I got put on Blood Pressure pills because doc said I was still detoxing and my bp was crazy high)
She advised me to go psychiatrist and check out what he has to offer. Well the guy was not hesitant to pass out some pills, I'll say that much. But that was on an earlier post.
Anyway, one pill he gave me was called Campral. I don't know if I'm having placebo effect or if it's working. I don't feel like I crave alcoholas much. I've only been taking it a day and a half, so it might be too early to tell. But I know I don't think about alcohol as much and I've never made it this far. My record is 7 days. I am still not sleeping much AT ALL which is what this was supposed to help with, but as far as cravings, I feel much better.
Just curious if anyone has taken this and what their opinions are.

I read some good things about campral in a book on getting sober but have no personal experience.
As there is a rule against giving medical advice on here, people may not have too much of a response on that question. Although, I think if there's anyone who took it, it would be ok for them to share their personal experience.
