I am going to keep checking in even though I did drink last night. I really thought about my drinking and I drank a lot less than usual and at a much slower pace. So, I barely even got a buzz but I still know it was bad to drink. And, I think there are people who might be disappointed in me (like myself). I am looking forward to AA tomorrow. I know I shouldn't expect some miraculous event by going but it can't hurt to try.

Keep posting 2bhappier!! . . . having support makes all the difference, AA is a great decision too.

Don't worry about people being disappointed, I don't know anyone who got Sober first time around, it took many slip ups!! . . .we all know how it feels!!

Thank you, Purple Knight. I was fortunate enough to live in Ireland for a year and I loved every minute of it. I appreciate your response.

Purpleknight is bang on. Don't worry about us, we are here for support rain or shine.

You appear to have a good plan, AA is a great support system. Combine that with SR, a good dose of determination and your set for success ;-)
