I also went from weekend binges to daily drinking and gained soooooo much weight! Nothing....and I mean nothing........fit. Today...at 77 days of no alcohol...my "skinny" clothes are falling off....I had no idea!!!

Hi and Welcome. By admitting and knowing drinking is a problem for you is a great step forward. Well done. Loads of support and experiance here for you.

Welcome. I know many binge drinkers or people who were binge drinkers. Almost all have said the same thing. That anxiety that they had waiting to drink again and the anxiety they had after was binge was very hard to live with. Exentually over time the periods they waited to drink again got shorter and shorter. I was an all day everyday drinker so I don't have a lot of experience, just what others have told me. So glad you have recognized your problem and have started to take steps. You will need support if you can find it. Hang in there and let us know how you are doing. I have found that you have to be britally honest with yourself and talk about the issues you have moving forward. Hang in there.
