Just Taking Today
I am in day 2 (not sure I should even count yesterday as sober - I didn't drink yesterday, but was still intoxicated enough from the night before to blow a "fail" in my emissions device when I tried to start my car to go to work yesterday morning - 9 hrs after I stopped drinking)....Anyway I didn't drink yesterday & have the weekend off. I slept in this am (rare, but needed)...going to clean house...take the tree down & go to the gym, make a good meal. Was checking out the list of books on newcomers site last night...think I will go get one today & just "chill" here at home & be thankful that I can start again.....knowing that I never Have to spend another day full of regret like yesterday. Glad to "find" you all

I love to read, too. In fact, I got a $50 gift card to Barnes & Noble from one of my bosses for Christmas, so I can load up my Nook and read to my heart's content.

Good for you....you take it easy & have a good day - Am winding down here....is 5:00 pm. Made some great cream of potato soup & going to get comfy here for the night, do some reading
