That's alright liss,including today you got 5 days to get ready for New Year's Eve.5 days usually makes me feel back to normal,get through that and I reckon your be in good shape to get through.Just relax today,watch some **** tv or whatever you feel like doing and don't be hard on yourself.Just think how good you will feel if you get through new year? :-)

Towards the end all my "fails" were epic....

Do not think of this as a fail, rather, another chance to get, and stay, sober. It is a learning experience. All you have is today; use each day well and you will get there one day at a time. Nothing epic about it, just the choices one makes on a daily basis. I am walking with you on this day (you probably have more sobriety than I do since I just got up!).

Hi liss. I did it many times. Finally, I was exhausted and disgusted enough to stop thinking it would ever be fun again. I don't know why we always think there'll be a different ending when we pick up - it brings us nothing but misery. This never has to happen again.
