I'm proud of you Mum.

The words from my 20 year old daughter after a beautiful sober Christmas Day.

I needed to write and remember this and come back to read these words if need be .

I will NEVER drink again ...life is good :-) no hangover and i remember it all

:-)

Well done. Let's remember together how happy our families are that we are working on our recovery.

Snoozy, those are the most beautiful words in the world! I can see your daughter takes after her sweet mother.

Like music to the ears, thanks for the lovely post!

My son is only 7, but I'm sure someday he will understand when I explain.

Brought tears to my eyes Snooz. We are proud of you too - and I'm very happy your daughter acknowledged your hard work.

I agree with you, completely.

I just spent the entire day with my daughter, son-in-law and two of my grandchildren (2yrs and 4 yrs). I will never forget how close I came to never being able to spend a day like this.

Wow! I'm so happy for you. My family told me today that they are very proud of me too and it felt awesome to hear them say that.
