First day blues

Quit drinking at 7:40 last night. Shakes starting to subside. Wish me luck.

Welcome Borrachon! Glad you joined us. I remember having the shakes and feeling miserable. Hope you are feeling better soon. The longer you stay away from booze the better you will feel and the easier it will get. We are here for you!

I know this seems a bit run of the mill but... it gets better. I had 6 months sober at one point this year and it was incredible what sobriety can do for a person's life. I'm just back on Day Two now. Hang in there.
