I'm new to SR

Hi. First post for me. I'm over 2yrs abstinent from alcohol but still struggling with my primary substance especially when I'm ill, a major trigger for me. I've got a horrible sore throat at the moment, which led me to pick up yesterday (not booze) so I'm hoping today goes better. The throat IS actually feeling a bit less painful today - fingers crossed! Not sure how this website is going to work for me but I am outreaching and trying to feel more connected to the programme! Thanks

I'm a variety of meds - I don't feel my recovery is threatened or compromised by them.
