One week
Well I have accomplished one week of sobriety, so far so good. Not looking forward to the holidays with the family, hopefully will be stronger by then! Still reading about all the things that will change in my body when it isn't full of poison alcohol.

Well done for one week.
Try to think of it this way, if you remain sober trough the post Alcohol driven holiday of of the year, you are set for victory on the rest of the year.
And, you will actually remember everything. ;-)

Thank you for the encouragement...I'm feeling positive. My screen name is the last night that I drank a pint of vodka and I refuse to change my name..haha!
That's awesome!! . . . yeah there's plenty of support around at this time, as everyone new to recovery seems to be feeling it a little, but if we can push through, things will only get better . . . and we'll be able to look back and feel proud of ourselves for coming out the other side!!
