Hello, after a long time of drinking ive just quited.
Now i've got this terible itch over my body.
does anyone recognice this??

Yes. It is withdrawal. It is normal. You might want to see a doctor to help with the detox if possible. check out AA too. Welcome to sobriety, I am glad you are here. Keep reaching out.

That was pretty much my only withdraw symptom

thanx everybody, so good to here that I'm not the only one, I've been searching about this in the Netherlands were I live but found nothing, I thougt that I was the only one!

I have seen a Doc, my liver functions are ok happely enough!

Yep, I itched too. Weirdest thing, it goes away after a while.

I never itched but I think seeing a Dr if it's concerning you is great advice

Oh the "ITCH".

I remember even my eyes itched. The instep on my foot. The web between my fingers. My hair.

The itches and the twitches. So glad those are OVER.
