Starting over

I'm not proud. Had small relapse. Starting sober day #2. Sobriety date 12/17/2013.

Learn from your mistakes Sharpy - whatever they were.
What are you going to do differently this time? :)

Glad you're back Sharpy :)

Next time I'm going to listen to my true self, and agree with her not the AV.

Sounds good. The secular connections forum on here has lots of threads and information on AVRT to help you with that.

Sharpy 12-18-2013 01:19 AM

Thank you Louise I'll look into those.

PurpleKnight 12-18-2013 02:29 AM

You are here aren't you - be proud of continuing to fight - hell, if it was easy this place wouldn't exist :) Xx

Lind 12-18-2013 04:19 AM

Keep fighting Sharpy! You can do this!!

soberclover 12-18-2013 05:41 PM

I agree that simply being here and seeking support and information for your sobriety is awesome! Stay strong!

Thank you for your post on day #2. Those are some long days. What are some of your feelings right now?

Sharpy 12-18-2013 05:53 PM

Ym.. I'm thankful for all the comments and support. I feel all right. I'm keeping myself busy during the day and when it gets quiet I meditate.

SlickRick07 12-18-2013 05:54 PM

A new day 1 is always better than the alternative.

MythOfSisyphus 12-19-2013 01:20 AM

Take heart, Sharpy. You don't fail when you stumble and fall, you fail when you don't get back up again. Just come back stronger than you were before. Not everyone succeeds at the first time but if you keep trying you will.
