It feels like a battle but soldiering through... Finding it excruciatingly hard but keeping my head down and soldiering through. 15 days sober, when I get through today I'll be ok for another day. |
Well done, I think you have the groove that works best, one day at a time. |
:welcome to SR! Congrats on your fifteen days and here's to many more sober days. :) You've come to a great place for support. |
Congratulations on your sober time, taking it a day at a time is a good way of doing it. Welcome to SR. |
It's not going to beat me again! |
That's for sure! |
Welcome Invisible Frank! One day at a time -- one minute sometimes! |
Just keep pushing through. I promise it gets better. I'm over 4 months in and remember day 15 and all moments in the beginning. It's a dog fight and the addiction will do everything to beat you. Remember it too shall pass and believe that life sober is a great way to live. Hang in there and keep counting the days! You can do it! |
Well done, Frank. I'm at the same day count you are, so welcome to the Fifteen Club. Tomorrow, 16....and 17.....don't give up! |
Excellent! If you can make 15 days you CAN make 30. Once you've made 30 you can definitely make 90. And once you make 90 you can do a year. By then your life will have changed in many, many ways. |
Welcome to SR :) D |
Hi and welcome. You have already done a lot of work. The first 2weeks are very tough IM0. It gets better and easier. |
The first two weeks are rough, as already said. I Hit Paws after about 2 weeks and during a difficult time in my life. Please read up on PAWS if you haven't already. The emotional and psychological withdraws can be tough. With all these feelings, just know that they will pass with time and it's only temporary. Be kind to yourself. |
Well done Frank :You_Rock_ |
Welcome Frank, congrats on 15 days sober. Glad you have joined us. :) |
Good job, just take one step at a time. |
Great job on 15 days! It gets better, that's for sure. Onward! |
