What a horrible ordeal. I am glad that you are still alive!
I have dual-diagnosis, which landed me in jail 11 days ago. It was very embarrassing, but I am learning to accept that I need to take better care of myself and that everyone is made differently and that nobody is without problems.
Were you feeling suicidal because of your husband's impending move? Just wondering because if you figure out what triggered it, the next time you will be more prepared and more analytical about what you are feeling. I find that talking to myself helps a lot (although it doesn't do much for making me feel saner
).

Hey I'm glad that you got to the hospital in time and that you're reaching out for help both on here and face-to-face, through meetings and counselling. I also have a dual diagnosis and, like you, am powerless over both issues. I finally accepted I was powerless over my alcoholism 5 months ago and have been sober ever since but I've only recently come to accept that I'm also powerless over my mental health issues. Me accepting this is helping me to be more receptive to the help I'm getting for the mental health issues.
